Will level 4 lockdown cause more deaths? By Blessing Mhlanga While many will be smiling their way back to work come May 1st, there are still concerns about the risk of covid-19 resurgence as well as the possible increase of cases and deaths thereof. In his freedom day address, EFF leader, Julius Malema indicated that level 4 lockdown will do more harm than good on citizens, adding that the president is only inviting more graves to our nation. He emphasized that the government will have to be charged for deliberate murder if or when level 4 lockdown causes a deadly resurgence. He may be right! The spread of the virus is likely to increase during level 4 lockdown unless proper precautions are followed. Companies will have to spend money on protective gears, sanitizer and treatment on their employees. If one employee testes positive for the virus, all other personnel will have to tested and quarantined, consequently slowing the production of the business. If this one Cov

Happy Freedom day South Africa

Happy Freedom day South Africa! By Blessing Mhlanga. 27 April 2020. It's over two decades since the bird of freedom landed in the yard of South Africa. 26 years ago on this day, history was made and a foundation of a new democratic South Africa was laid. A non-racial constitution was established and democratic elections were held, ending the black sheep of Apartheid. Finally, the graves blossomed, the sky was garnished with colourful flavours and the birds of heaven joined the rainbow nation with dances of bliss. The journey had started and so we began walking the path of freedom. Thanks to the warriors of our iconic freedom including Nelson Mandela, Oliva Tambo, Chris Hani and others - the list is endless. But can we say we have honoured the crown of freedom? Have we made the gone warriors proud of the freedom they fought so pricelessly hard for? Not yet. Perhaps it's safe to say we have instead abused the freedom and little has been done to maintain the value an

Thanks to your intelligent medical personnel and experts, I'm losing my death poison slowly but surely. Thanks to your heartfelt prayers to your God, my defeat is at hand and my ability to diffuse and posses mankind is expiring. Thanks to your unity and cooperation

R350 grant payout is peanuts? By Blessing Mhlanga While President Cyril Ramaphosa and his government are doing their level best to serve the people of South Africa during the pandemic of Covid-19, some have chosen to be ungrateful for their priceless efforts. Among other efforts, the government has put in place about R50 billion to address the hunger, poverty and food insecurity catastrophes for the unemployed, by issuing the R350 per month grant for the next six months. In response, some took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction over the grant payment, citing that it is little and should have been higher based on one's academic qualification. As such Twitter went buzzing with the #R350 trend, which saw many throwing complaints and displeasure. In case you didn't know, there's about 6.7 million unemployed individuals in South Africa excluding 3 million discouraged job seekers. So that increases the number to close to 10 million people looking forward to

Reasons why guys delay marriage

Image
Why guys delay marriage By Blessing Mhlanga Walking down the isle is most of the girls' dream. The dazzling white dress, the diamond ring and the handsome John are part of a lady's prayers and wish. But when handsome John comes, he doesn't seem keen about marriage at all. He's delaying. He's not interested about the marital talk and persuit. You wander why. Is it your fault? No, girl! It ain't your fault. When he delays the matrimony crown, then you should be worried. Dating shouldn't take more than five years, because temptation will show you flames. So why do men delay to marry? 1. Young and free theory This is common among the modern millenials. They presume that they're still young to marry and they think they are growing more younger. It's not good for a man to be alone, neither is it fair to keep the lady waiting and holding on to false hope. Marry early and young, grow together and you'll be safe from temptation. 2. Fear
